I used the quote on page 2 in this layout and used a pinky blush color on both the pictures I have in the background of these pages. Hubby and I are visiting historical markers in Alabama, and we went to the Edmond Pettus Bridge and walked it 2 weeks ago. We also visited the National Parks Interpretation Center too and discovered this other great quote one of the organizers of the March said - it is a powerful quote. Love both quotes on these pages.
Many hugz - off to walk some spooky, haunted places in Montgomery today and visit the Civil Rights Memorial, Rosa Parks Museum, or the Hank Williams Museum... so many choices! We plan to eat at Chris' Hot Dogs (it is a famous hot dog spot where Hank Williams and many historical figures have eaten plus it is haunted - lol).

Wonderful, Nancy! I love your historical pages & layouts. When I was a kid, my mom ALWAYS made us stop at every historical marker we saw. My sis & bro & I used to call them hysterical markers, lol. I'm pretty glad we did that now..just then it was like "oh no, not another hysterical marker."

What a cool idea to visit those historical places! I really like that quote you chose. Love the butterflies here and there on your pages. Enjoy your hot dogs!

What gorgeous album pages, Nancy. Your beautiful quotes and pictures take center stage on your lovely background. I love the butterfly accents. I struggle with journal pages because I want them to tell a story without too many added elements. Your pages are what I am aiming for! xo
We drove the highway and saw the campground signs where the freedom marchers stopped along the way. We didn't have time to do much more than a quick museum along the highway. It was a very moving and disturbing ride home as we thought of that long walk and what awaited in town. This is an absolutely gorgeous layout! It gave me chills!

You are capturing such magical things in your scrapbook Nancy, your family must treasure the times you all get to stay home and peek in the albums. This is fabulous. ( ps. loved the textures of the dress you found too)
