Seriously Happy Fall, ya'll! Here's hoping you were able to play in the challenges, learn new techniques, and build a stash to get you through Holidays Alley.
I'm here in Jean's challenge for us, to make a New Year's card and use no red or green.
Gotta love welcoming the New Year. Especially one that has double digits 2020! My lovely couple (Fonz) is all dressed up and out to bring in a fresh beginning.
I stamped them directly to paper and embossed the gentleman. The New Year Clock was inked onto clear vellum and embossed with both Super Fine Gold and the Stampendous Aged Marine. I fussy cut the clock and placed it above the couple. If you look closely you'll see a tiny heart at the base of the clock hands. The year 2020 was a found object...I noticed the use by date on a pack of Trader Joe's seed crackers. Cut it apart and rearranged for 2020. A tiny strip of black and gold Washi Tape and here it tis!
I'd love to hear your New Year's traditions. Me...I'd love to dance the night away with my wonderful husband! Thanks for stopping by.

Having been married to a musician, no New Year's traditions for me, although the last couple a years, a friend and I have gone to supper and a movie. Home early is my motto. You honor me with your sample. I love that top piece, it just sings!!!!!! Beautiful simplicity!

Fabulous and festive for 2020! That couple stamp is so cool...I love the way you added the greeting right below the clock and how clever of you to utilize a TJ use by date...LOL. I'm usually asleep by midnight on New Years....I do like a little bubbly now and then though. ;)
