This card is one of 3 I made for the Layton's Legacy card drive. You can read more about that at Leah Lawson's website. The theme for this year's card drive is "Sensitive Sympathy."
I die cut the quilt square from 4 different patterned papers, as well as 4 times from white cardstock. I ran the cardstock "frames" through my Xyron Sticker Maker, and adhered them to a 4x4" piece of white cardstock. Then I used liquid glue to insert all the patterned paper pieces.
I stamped the butterfly onto bristol paper with Moonstone ink, and colored it with my markers. I die cut another from fun foam, and adhered them together for dimension. I adhered my "quilt" to a mint cardstock panel, and adhered the butterfly in the middle.
I stamped my greeting in Morning Mist onto a strip of white cardstock, and adhered that below the quilt.
