This is well and truly sunrise in the Garden. Don't ask me where this incredible garden is - not mine at the moment - this garden looks like it is getting lots of rain going by the lush flower display. Wish we could get some of that rain here.
The recipient of our Tea Party cards - JoEllyn is going to get a whole truck load of lovely scented flowers by the looks of the gallery already.
For this card I splotched water colour paints on the the panel - outlined them with a micron pen - making the bottom ones into flowers and the others into birds. Though I am a bit worried about the yellow bird - he looks a little bit scary to me.
I am off now before dinner to try and splash a bit of water on my dry garden and fill up the empty bird baths - the birds here are making the most of them now as their free showers from the sky have dried up.
I will put this in the mail tomorrow and keep my fingers crossed that it arrives without the long delays being experienced in the mail now.
Hope you enjoy.

Beautiful Helen! I love how your imagination runs free in your doodling! Sorry for your rain woes. We are heading into fall so the garden is winding down. Picked my green hot peppers yesterday - didn't think they were going to turn red at this late date. This is a gorgeous card and sure to lift JoEllyn's spirits!

This just made me smile and smile when I saw it earlier. I think it's fantastic. I love everything in it, the whimsical flowers, the tall tree and the adorable little birds.

My goodness Helen, this is a total jaw drop of a card. I honestly thought this was DP until I read your description. Then my jaw just kept dropping and dropping and dropping. I am so impressed by what you have achieved with your dipsy doodle painting Helen, and I know this happy card will totally delight JoEllyn. ~Karen.
