The little things in life that make me smile...there are so many, for example trying to follow as long as possible a butterfly with your eyes...seeing busy bees on flowers, children, listening the sounds of nature, walking in the leaves, I could continue long time...
For the challenge today I thought about my sister she makes me smile only when I think about her, she's working with very small kids and she used a fun idea for the theme Autumn, she took plastic pockets the one you use for school to keep a document inside, and she made a leaf stencil, she puts paint in the bag and staples the leaf stencil with the bag together and let the children play with their fingers to spread the paint.
I thought seeing the big smiles on their little faces this would be fun for me to try, I used a card bag, the ones with a removable glue strip, I used yellow, orange, violet and beige acrylic paint one drop of each, closed the bag, I die cut a butterfly and kept the negative to make the frame, took a second piece of black linen and glued my bag on it with double sided tape, glued the butterfly over it and used a third piece of black card stock scored a bit larger than the base to make it a double card, then I used my fingers to spread the paint in the bag, and each time you touch the bag it's changing, I added some golden sticker dots and lines and a birthday sentiment.
the colors make me smile too!!

What a fun, wonderful technique, Anita. I love how you combined thoughts of your sister and your love of butterflies to come up with this idea. Beautiful card.
