I worked about 4 hours on this basket and had real fun to make it.
I started with the die cuts they are scalloped squares I used coton to weave over the panels through the open scallops, and attached them together, I made a square box and a handle, covered the handle with coton lace, and die cut the flowers to attach with the brads, I made a lace bow and added lace around the bottom too, tied twine around to keep it all together, and made 2 little bunches of paper roses, I almost forgot to mention the 4 flaps they are die cut circles folded and glued on the inside .

Anita, these are a masterpiece! The details of this are amazing, I love the cotton twine and lace. You have outdone yourself on this. Thanks for playing in my challenge.

Oh!!!! I can see how you wove over the scallops, same way as with Spirelli only straight across. What a wonderful look it adds to the squares. That is so very dainty and pretty.
When I saw this creation, my first thought was "Wow! That took a massive amount of work!" It's lovely! A special gift, even before you put something in it!
