I've combined today's fun sketch with Kelly's Challenge Your Stash challenge for the month of August which was to use a stencil. First, I found this watermelon stamp that I've never used before and I inked it up and spritzed with water for a fun watercolor look. Then I found a stencil and inked it up with Abandoned Coral and spritzed with water and applied to the paper. I cut this frame out with my ScanNCut and sponged around the outside with Peeled Paint. I decided I didn't like it in white, so I sponged it with black and popped up my watermelon slice on top. I felt like it needed one more thing, so I added some twine in to jazz it up a bit. Thanks, Kelly, for the fun challenge!

Fabulous card Jen. I really thought you used some discarded household plastic thing for your stencil. It is fabulous as well as your watercolored watermelon. Great job.
