This is for Julie's (justwritedesigns) Challenge for the Dare to Get Dirty. A week long extravaganza of creative challenges as a thank you for supporting our community and hosted by past and current Dirty Girls. Check it out...so good!
I am also putting this in the Inspiration Challenge. I was inspired by this scarf. Thanks to Angie for hosting and Denise for selecting our site. Lots of wonderful treasures to be found there.
I've got daughters~in~love birthdays, both of them in the next 6 days. After waiting SO long for girls, I must say I am over the moon to have them in my life. SO much fun. And when we three get together to make art, it is just the best!
Thanks for your comments. I appreciate your thoughts.
PS: This was my very first rubber wood mounted stamp. Bought in 1996. You just never forget your first, right?! And to Connie, who nourished my beginnings...I so hope you happen upon this...

Just perfect. Yes - the background does look like a scarf - and the beautiful hydrangea are just the right shade of purple too - one of my favourite flowers.

This is so beautiful, Susan, and has gone straight into my favourites! Stunning flower and I love the bg. I hear you on the daughters, too - I love that I now have a DIL who is lovely and due to give me my first grandchild in a few months time~

Wow! So that stamp is timeless! So happy you have two daughters-in-love. I bet it is amazing to get together and create! Your card is so pretty. I always forget to emboss the patterned paper.

Daughters-in-Love....how cute. I know about that, too. Your hydrangea is just beautiful, Susan. Wonderful technique and I always like your staples.

How beautiful, Susan! For a first stamp, that's a terrific one. I love all of those PSX botanicals & yours looks gorgeous in these colors & w/ that paper. Thanks so much for playing in my challenge!
