I used the direct-to-paper technique to age the card a bit. The stripes on the end were done with the small Plaidmaker templates. I used a marker for the black, rather than the sponge daubers with the ink pad, so it would be a nice, bold black. The ribbon is also aged using More Mustard & a sponge dauber.

Very pretty! I have never used my plaidmakers simply because I can't envision plaid backgrounds, but I never thought to just make stripes! Thanks for the idea and for sharing your beautiful card!
