The theme for July Fan Club is Comeback, Celebrating 15 years. The Central Theme is to CASE some of your older cards and freshen them up. The first time I used this Hampton Art Stamps Paris collage, was out my window. I must say I wouldn't change a thing with this card, though it was just fussy cutting the window, and woman. Direct to paper for the sentiment. I also created this Paris Memories. For this card, I did stamp the image onto DP, using Sea Foam white EP and was fussy cut. I used an embossing folder for the background and gelatos to color the bg. There was a circle of black along her right side.
Today's card is probably my fussiest ever! I paper pieced her dress with a classic pastoral scene âe~wall paper' print from the Basic Grey âe~True Love' DP. Embossing the dress in clear. If you look carefully, you might spy cherubs and a couple in love. I used one of Tim Holtz fragments along the left side. I fussy cut the right side, colored the leaves and her body with Copics. The small geometric border paper is made with repeating hearts in the pattern. They are tiny...but there in two different color ways. Of course I had to staple the edges. A pearl necklace and I slipped a few pieces of vintage lace I've saved from a dear friend to ad texture.
Jean (jkanack) said it exactly how I feel about my cards...they are perfect and original just as they are...smears, wrinkles, and crooked!
I did have fun bringing a fresh take on one of my favorite stamps (until tomorrow).

Wow, girl, you have knocked it out of the ballpark with this pretty creation. All your work is all worth how grand this turned out. Love the red, the pearls, the touch of lace, that pretty diecutting, and I see you have robbed your guarded Basic Grey stash for this card too. Fabulous card!!

Like you, I tend to stay closer to a CAS style but this is so intriguing with all the tiny elements - Love the bit of antique lace and tiny pearls and how that TH fragmented corner made the perfect frame for your image. Just lovely!
