Our recipient Stephanie likes to read (me, too) so I wanted to go with something reading related. Well believe it or not I don't really have any book images. So I went to my friend Google images and found this fairy. I hope she likes this.

She’ll love it as do I! The hues and patterns you chose are so pretty. But it’s the fairy with her pile of books that wins the day...oh, and of course the kitten at the bottom of the stack. My rescue cat sitting to the left of me approves!

Polly! I'm amazed that you don't have any book images. I must send you a few some time soon. I know I've sent you a card with the little reading bunny , but I have an owl too and several others...
You found a lovely image to use, though - love that little cat curled up. What pretty paper lace, too.

This is a very pretty card, Polly, beautiful bg with the German scrap and you sure found the sweetest image to colour! Reading ‘The Glass Room’ by Simon Mawer.
