This is my sample for CC748. Barbara is our hostess and she chose cherry cobbler, garden green and gold for her color trio. Dessert Option this week is stars.
The CC challenge is a little different for the month of July. We have a theme of Christmas in July for the entire month. You can follow that theme or just use the colors and create another card with the design of your choice.
I went with Christmas because I love traditional Christmas colors. I decided to make an inside Christmas scene and I used this "Santa Napping" die from CottageCutz to create my card. He is tired after a long night of Christmas deliveries (LOL)!! Even his little puppy is exhausted!
For the wallpaper, I used cherry cobbler designer paper. The wood floor or carpeting is dsp from the "festive farmhouse" collection. He is napping in his favorite lounge chair.
My sentiment is from an old Stampin'-Up set "wandering words". I stamped it and then put a frame around it to resemble a wall decoration. Scattered a few stars around the frame for the dessert option.
That's my sample for this week. Hope you can play along with us.Are you up to the Christmas in July challenge with these colors?

Just adorable, Mary! I love that Santa finally gets to rest after his busy night. Seriously, you did a wonderful job putting all those intricate little die-cut pieces together to create this sweet scene! Thanks for coming up with the Christmas in July theme. I love having gotten a jump on this year's cards!

Super cute Christmas scene, Mary. You do such amazing work with these die-cuts. Love how you arranged everything. The striped wallpaper is a terrific backdrop. I like the framed saying which is perfect for Santa. So many fun details! Wonderful use of the challenge colors for this fun & delightful Christmas in July theme.

This is pretty easy to imagine - a sleeping santa!! I like your wallpaper and patterned chair. I also like that santa has a dog sleeping next to him. :>)
