O Happy Day is NOT because this card turned out great and I took an amazing picture of it. Nope. It got smudged before my make do photo shoot. But it IS a happy day because I'm spending it helping my daughter get settled into a new place IN MINNESOTA!!!! This is after 12 years away in Chicago and NYC. This momma is SO happy even if her card may need a do over when she gets back in her studio...
Anyway, Barbara's classic color scheme (Cherry Cobbler + Garden Green + Gold with Stars for dessert) brings to mind deep, rich velvety colors with so many possibilities. Since it is hot here in Minnesota this week though, I decided to try these colors in a cooler, CAS setting. I embossed this jingle bell wreath in gold and colored it with Blends (SU alcohol markers) These don't come in Garden Green so I used Mint Macaron Light and Dark plus a little Light Call Me Clover to bring it closer to the Garden Green range. I added the sentiment, cut it out with a rectangle die and popped it onto a white card. Once I have the routine down for coloring the bells it's definitely a card that can be mass produced.
Get a head start on your Christmas cards or try these colors for another occasion. Whatever you choose, we would love to see you in the gallery!

So happy for you Chris, it's a wonderful time to be near our adult kids after they've been out of state for a while (or we have!). Great CAS card, the wreath of bells is such a fun design!

Terrific CAS design! Wonderful idea for the challenge colors. This is such a cute card. Sorry about the smudge, but I am glad you shared it with us anyway. We've all been there, done that! Congrats on your DD's move closer to home. That is exciting!
