Pat is hosting this weeks Teaparty for Shelley. Shelley is fighting breast cancer and we are here to send her some teapotter paper hugs.
Have you ever read a challenge and then got it completely and utterly wrong? My brain registered "CASE", when it should have registered "SKETCH".
I case'd one of my cards from 2014, and jazzed it up a bit by using pencils on top of the distress inks and adding liquid pearls and Stickles.
DH and I are away for a few weeks, sheep farm sitting, so I'm not able to make a replacement card. I figure that what happens at a Teaparty, stays at a Teaparty, so Shelley won't know how badly I got this challenge messed up.
I'm hoping that the bright red Gumboots, courtesy of 3D crystal lacquer, put a smile on Shelley's face. Thank you for looking and I hope you are able to send some teapotter love to Shelley.

Nothing wrong with your card Susie, we can be inspired by the challenge, by the teapot TEAser or by the destination write-up, anyway, your card is a real beauty so I'm sure Shelley will be delighted to get it!!

I love her apron! And those boots....I want some!! What a totally artsy, liquid pearls dream of a card! I'm sure Shelley will be in awe of this. And since she has no idea what our challenge is (and everyone has chosen different of her likes) she'll never know about the sketch mix up.
ps-I can't believe they had a documentary on Minnesota lakes on Aussie TV....Did you see me floating on my air mattress....I waved ;)

Love...love...love your card Susie and reminds me of all the mixed media cards I’ve been pinning today on Pinterest. I love her gum boots and style. Also love the scene you’ve created. I may pin this. TFS my friend over East. You know I love your work. Happy day...and shame about our Ash.

Sheep farm sitting - that's a step or two up from the dog-minding that I have coming up. Your cards are always full of so many little details in the background to look out for. I always liked that sort of checkerboard stamp you use in backgrounds. And I LOVE her boots.

All Shelley will see is pure art, and the healing love you put into it for her. I have a huge collection of vintage apron patterns, many suggest rick-rack. I would totally frame this!

Sheep farm sitting! I would love that! Susie, CASE or SKETCH, it doesn't matter as the card is beautiful! I love the girl and her fantastic apron and boots. The liquid pearls and stickles on the background add volumes to the card. A great piece of artwork, sweet Susie! Hugs, and have a great time on the farm!
