This is my second card using the inlaid die-cutting technique and this great Poppystamps die. I used the red shimmer panel I had die cut for my first card and inlaid using gold and dark blue card stocks. When my card was assembled, I added a small BIRTHDAY TO YOU sentiment popped up for a bit of visual interest. Since I also lost track of one of the blue dots for the "i" in the scripty birthday, I found a cute little gold star in my stash that I could use instead. I like how it adds something unexpected to the card.

This turned out so pretty. I think it is the combination of this technique and that pretty paper. Your small sentiment really just adds the perfect finishing touch. Thanks for the inspiration.
