I am really loving doing these smaller Scrapbook pages - they are almost the size of cards and they just work so much better for me. Michelle (mfb) is the Featured Stamper this week and I used this card as my inspiration:
Used stripes and dots for my background just like Michelle but I made my own with water colors and white acrylic paint. I put my frame a little off the page and I used butterflies, a picture, and a flower instead of her balloons.
Thanks for the inspiration, Michelle, and congrats on being the featured stamper. Your gallery is so lovely and fun, plus you are so encouraging and sweet. I appreciate that you always do a list in the Favorites thread too. Hugz!

This is so fun, Nancy, based on Michelle's sweet card. Love the splattered background and I would never think to "chop" off the piece of stitched framing and it looks awesome! Love the embosslit butterflies. What a wonderful memory this is to preserve like this!

Another fab scrapbook page. Maybe the smaller size would work better for me, but I have so many pictures that would be a really thick book! Love the story you tell on the page and the colors are great!

Oh wow! What a truly fun and memorable image and evening to capture on a scrapbook page like this. Your bg's are amazing and sure do highlight your images so nicely. I love this off-set frame because I find that I want to look at the image even closer then. I am sorry to read an important member of your family was not able to attend the Cher concert, but what a great way to honor him by doing this. Hugs! ~Karen.
What a fun and memorable event that must have been! So glad the three of you could make Cher's concert in honor of him. This is such a wonderful layout. I love the jazzy stripes and dots for your BG. It seems so fitting for your photo. I might have to try a version of that. Thank you for honoring me this week and for your kind words!
