I have been working on this Zentangle project for a while and when I saw today's challenge, I quickly added some finishing touches.
I used the stencil to lightly trace the honey comb and then Zentangled my heart out. Bees are drawn free hand. Added color with water color pencils and water. I do love patterning. I especially love the funky flowers, so easy and fun.
I was inspired by this piece...I too could not click on the link but I found it. I have a weakness for needle felting and I'm happy many are sold. Just wonderful work! http://fudgeandmabel.co.uk/shop/felt...all+sculptures
I just got stung this past week. Never even saw the critter on the fence post as I grabbed it to steady myself. Still itches.

So inventive, whimsical and frameable! I love it all, especially how your bees' with their awesome wings are hovering. Very 3-D. It's like a bees eye view of one amazing patio and garden. Fantastic colors and scene. A Fav!

Fantastic! The bee sampler was inspiring and you've taken it to whole 'nother level. Your zen~tangling the bees wings required a second look...I think you've been hiding this drawing talent from us! I love everything about this card...the color play requires multiple looks. What a joyful work of the heart in the gallery today.
Sorry about the sting...but a small sacrifice for your entomology study, right???
Had to scroll up there again...and of course, into my favorites.
