It's time for a new Color Challenge! Barbara is hosting and has chosen Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Mint Macaron, with a dessert option to use dsp. I'm dieting, so no dessert for me this week!
I used another Suzy's Watercolor Print to color the roses, using Copic markers. The print had a sentiment I wasn't keen on so I ended up fussy cutting the roses. I even used my craft knife to cut out the interior areas, which is REALLY outside my comfort level ha ha! However, no bleeding ensued, so I felt it was a successful effort!
For the background I die cut the scallop panel, stamped with a background stamp in Cracked Pistachio Distress ink, then splattered with the same ink along with some black Gesso. When dry the roses were added with foam tape and a few sequins scattered about.
Thanks for looking and I hope you'll join us for the Color Challenge this week!

Stef, as usual, your coloring is phenomenal! I can’t believe you did all that fussy cutting, especially with the craft knife. Yikes! I say your background stamp created DS paper, and I hereby give you dessert. LOL!
