Just got back today from a vacation visiting my hometown. It was an amazing trip of reconnecting with friends, family and classmates. This albeit weird scene is based on a true story and will be my thank you to the folks who graciously gave us a tour of their home, which was my parents home for 58 years.
I tried Stamped Etching for the first time. Found it easier to flick to the right rather than the left. It didn't take too long and really transformed the very simple image. My pool was too small so I used the Scan N Cut to copy, enlarge and draw it onto photo paper. I sponged it with Colorbox petal point pigment ink and embossed it. Fussy cut it, the fawn and the flowers. I stamped the BG scene with Distress Oxide and laid down my other elements. There is blue sponging here and there in the sky but my scanner washed it out.

I bet I'm not the only one who'd love to know the story. A deer in a pool? Sure looks like a fabulous location for a hot tub with views like that. How interesting that you found it easier to flick in one direction. You might have something there; I think I rotated my page but didn't get as far as analysing why. The flowers look great on the grey flagstones.

I guessed from the second I saw this scene that there had to be a story involved! (Having lived at the base of a mountain for a while with nothing but wilderness beyond my backdoor . . . well let's say not much would surprise me.) Those flowers turned out beautifully.

Great "etching" on your flowers! Love the little fawn cooling off in the pool. Wildlife can enjoy our toys as well! Once, my sister-in-law had baby bears playing on a swing set! LOL

Yes, we are all waiting for the story, but I can guess some of it from the scene. I found it was easier to flick in one direction than the other as well. This turned out great!
