This hits 2 challenges, the CAS no coloring and the Mixability graphite challenge. I stamped my flower then used my pencil to add shading and detail using the stamp etching method. I wrote my quote in black gel pen. The flower then looked a little too soft so I used the gel pen to redraw some lines and define the center again. I kept it quite CAS.

I love this, Gail! So perfect in it's simplicity and the message...I've been thinking on this in terms of aging and how others see one they have not been on the journey with!
Kuddos also for using your 'hand'. The rhythm of the letters offers the perfect foil for that pretty flower.

You are so good at adding personal touches to your cards, Gail - like the handwritten sentiment, which I wouldn't even attempt. The flower looks beautiful with the etching and soft shading.
