'You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean. If a few drops of the water is dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.'
I created the background with the gel plate, thin layer of gel medium, orange and yellow DOx sprays lightly sprayed, some alcohol Pearls flicked on, then the stencil. I wanted more drama for the F4A so I sprayed DOx faded jeans. As it dried, the sun stencil still came through. Flicked some water on it.
I shaded the stamp with two pencils and the tortillon for today's MIX. The sentiment is a little muddy, should have used the amalgam ink. So I used the pencils to bring out a few words. Finished with some glitter pen on the continents.
Don't forget to do something this weekend, especially in the US, to honor those who never got to take off their uniform. Always a good idea to do this, all over the world.

Inspiring and challenging sentiment. I like cards that provoke thought. I like the way the sun is shining through. I'm still trying to figure out a good ink for stamping over DOX!
