I don't have much in the way of Washi tape but I did find 3 that would go together pretty good. I decided to do a Bargello technique with them and use some Mizuhiki cord between each. then I cut them into 1/2" pieces and glued them on in the other direction using another color of Mizuhiki card between each cut. The butterfly is a die set from Sizzix which I have had for a while but never used. The corners are HC dies.

What an elegant creation, Robin. That washi tape bg is stunning with that pretty Japanese cord. The lace corners and that pretty butterfly are just gorgerous. Amazing card.

Robin, wow! What a wonderful use of Mizuhiki cord. I remember using it with strips of paper way back, but the tiled look you got here is fantastic...and must have taken quite some time.

this is a wow card...must have taken some time....well worth it though as long as the receiver appreciates it enough. what a beautiful effect. i know what that cord is but have never used it.
