I decided to do a little play on words for the Marshes 50th anniversary. I have never used this stamp and my first attempt, on the pretty Brusho side was an epic fail when trying to emboss in gold, because it is just too detailed for the paper I used. I turned the paper over and there were those blue splotches. Stamped with DOX. Used a little distress markers here and there and then highlighted the marsh with clear EP for watery shine. I was going to just add the sentiment, but as I was making the vellum script, I remembered the Marshes liked the beach, so I added this water bird, fussy cut by hand, this time. The card was to small for a 2nd bird so I will put 2 on the inside.

Lori, that's beautiful! Way to go, using the blue splotches that bled through. I just love this. The background reminds me of our visits to a bird reserve in the Camargue.
