I'm obviously going for the green example, and inspired by the grid. To me, green signifies freshness, nature, peace, health, recycling and abundance. I started my idea by spritzing the grid stamp with water and scribbling all the colors of Distress crayons and Gelatos I had in green. Decided to sprinkle on 2 shades of Brusho green for good measure and spritzed again. I laid the watercolor paper on top of the mess and hoped for the best. Not bad, and there was enough left for a ghost print for later use. Because it looked like farm-like to me, I decided to harvest some veggies. They were done with a MISTI & a Scan N Cut on sticker label paper. I actually had brown Dymo tape, but not brown enough so I swiped some Copic onto it. The white letters were muddy, so I removed the ink from the raised letters with the blending pen. I applied some DO ink to the EF so there would be more dimension when embossed. A fun afternoon celebrating #700!

Yum! Reminds me of all our lovely community gardens around town! Love that you chose green...and that fabulous patterned beet. Yes, I certainly dig it, neighbor.

I love your green grid. Loved reading how you did this. Green is my fave color, but I did not realize we were supposed to do something in our fave color, with this challenge. Oh well! This is quite amazing how you laid on the w/c and it came out wonderfully! This is a fun card!
