Two fun challenges to combine today! Lee had us adding snow to a spring card, which got me searching through my stamps for suitable spring snow. When I got to this snowflake stamp, I realized it would make a really cool flower. I love Karen's challenge too. I started by sponging Distress Oxides onto an inchie and splattering with water. Then I chose two background stamps, masked and stamped. One of them has some leaves on it, so this is kind of an every season card. Then I stamped the snowflakes, but realized that I shouldn't have used black for the background ink. The snowflakes didn't show. So I got out my new Ranger embossing marker (what took me so long to buy one? It's life-changing) and traced over the snowflakes and drew stems. Embossed both the "flowers" and the sentiment in black. But even though I used my embossing buddy, the sentiment still had some stray powder. So I splattered some black paint across the card to camouflage the stray powder.
