Had a very busy day with family yesterday and didn't make it into my craft room. So here is a four in one challenge card. I missed Jeanne's Free For All challenge yesterday to paint stripes. And I decided to pair my stripes with this fun image that Tracie sent us for our monthly image swap. I went looking on Brenda's inspiration site for something with stripes and flowers and found this kitchen towel. I used the colors to guide me. I most likely would have done horizontal stripes otherwise, but I like these vertical ones. I used Spectrum Aqua Navy marker scribbled onto an acrylic block and a wide paintbrush to paint the stripes. I should totally do this again. Possibly in plaid. I also missed Ky's challenge yesterday to use junk mail on our cards. I still had one of these junk mail envelopes from Discover (pictured behind my card). I got a few of them and just couldn't bring myself to throw them away. I die cut hearts out of it. I also had some rose gold glitter paper sitting on my desk from Thursday that coordinated really well with the Discover envelope. Actually, the navy paper with the daisies on it is also saved from an envelope--just not junk mail. Thanks, everyone, for some fun challenges!

So cute! I like that huge bunch of flowers in the bicycle basket. How wonderful you could combine four challenges today.

Yikes - I hope she doesn't have an accident on the way, I don't know how she can see where she's going round that huge bunch of flowers! The vertical stripes work much better with the way you've tied the twine on this. Love all those little fun sparkle and junk-mail hearts.
