To make this card I adhered a piece of Moroccan DSP to a layer of Cajun Craze CS and mounted it on a Delightful Dijon card base. I cut a doily in half and adhered it to the card front. To make the banner strip I layered two rows of Moroccan washi tape on a strip of Delightful Dijon CS overlapping them slightly to allow them to show equally on either side of a length of Delightful Dijon ribbon. I adhered it to the card front covering the top part of the doily. I die cut the flower in both colors of CS and adhered the layers together alternating the colors. I stamped the tiny sentiment onto the center of the flower, added glue to the back of the flower, adhered some loops of gold metallic thread to it then positioned it in the center of the card slightly above the midline. To finish it off I made a 4 loop bow with the gold metallic thread and adhered it just below the sentiment.

Eunice, this is delightful! I love the intricate flower medallion you've created using the two colours. The background DSP is great and your use of the spider web doily is very clever. Thank you for joining us at As You See It Challenge again. It's been too long since we saw you in the gallery. :-)

Eunice, this whole card has a very spicy, Eastern flavour to it! I can almost smell curry! The spider web doily really seems to fit with the other shapes and designs here. And that stylized flower is wow!! Thanks for playing along this week at As You See It Challenges!
