Followed the tutorial and I used the third from the larges of the circle nestabilities and scalloped nestabilities for my frame for the opening. You'll see that my sentiment is sideways. Starting with it sideways, makes it straight when the card is open.
That was about the only little glitch I had when placing my pieces together. Fun fold!

Ah, I never thought about the orientation of a sentiment changing...but it makes sense because I had to experiment with my heart to make sure it would work before I went ahead with it. This is the sort of card I would display open, so I'm sure it will make sense to the recipient. I like the matching stamped and popped-up winter mittens.

I must say I stamped my cat through the opening to be sure it would be on the right direction...so I understand your little "mistake" it isn't one for me, lovely Winter items cute card!!
