I'm better with more explicit instructions so I hope I've understood Judy's TLC737 Patterned Scene Strips challenge correctly. Even with getting home late and doing the housework, I had time to piece this together quickly before dinner.
I used two strips of floral patterned DP to make banks either side of a little stream, and cut the last piece of some treasured Memory Box paper up to make the sky. Added the heron, and some fish cut from glimmer paper swimming through the waves - you can see he let the little one go past because he could see what was coming. Added the sentiment and sun, and matted it on black. I do love watching herons, they seem to have endless patience standing still in the water, and then with a snap of their beak they've caught their snack. In her last house my sister decided against stocking their pond with fish because she knew herons flew over regularly and the fish wouldn't have lasted long.

waving to you, we're neighbors today! Somehow I just knew you would open to paper vault and bring out the Basic Grey, friend!!! I love your take on the Pattered Scene. Perfect.
What's for dinner...I am waiting for lunch.

I love the weave pattern in the sky and the wavy pattern (and those fish stamped swimming through them) for the water. This is a fabulous scene.

Oh boy, right into my favorites, sabrina! I love those strips in the sky, the fab water, and the silvery fish (notice I didn't say silverfish!!.....Readers such as we abhor those awful things!). Fab card, mf!

Wonderful! This reminds me of summer when we get to watch the heron fish along the banks of the lake!
