An experimental day, for sure. After seeing the dragonfly pillow thumbnail with the stripes, I went to my fabric sample stash and found this piece. I stamped and scanned the dragonfly first, enlarged it on the SNC and had it draw the outline onto the fabric. It worked! I painted the image with a mixture of GAC (clear fabric paint medium) and the Gelatos. Added some gold ink, too. It worked, too! Ironed it dry and then drew in the details, a rarity for me. Sewed the wonky border and added the sentiment scrap of paper. Adhered it with double stick carpet tape. My Mother would have loved it.

Oh my goodness, fabulous work with that Scan N Cut along with your talent. This is beautiful. You're right, you never know until you try. Those are some fancy details you drew, also. Glad you gave it a try and it turned out so great.

Wow, you are amazing and so talented to know just how to put all this together. Very mixed media if you ask me. Such beautiful results too.
