When I create a background that I get stumped on, all I have to do is put a Sock Monkey on it! Try it, you'll see! This one is coming out of the frame for Kim, who makes everyone's favorite re-purposed toy. The gel print was in my stash for maybe a year? The sheep are from 1994, and I've had the Sock Monkey Assortment for at least a dozen years. I fussy cut the images, used Puffy Velvet Fabric Markers on the sheep. Always feels like I'm cheating when I use stickers, but these were too perfect and were actually the catalyst for going with the cowboy/girl theme. Yes, the inside reads, "Wool You Be Mine?" FUN to make before and after Jury Duty today.

With those red lips, this sock monkey really is looking for someone to be hers! (Hope it's a her with those lips). Very fun card. Great use of the background.

A Western sock monkey - what fun! Sheep will certainly be right at home in NZ - I notice that even though we have our own perfectly good ones, I often see New Zealand lamb in the supermarket. Fun card, made me smile.
