I don't think I have had so much fun with a technique since I did the chlorophyll printing last summer. I like nature based, unexpected art and that is what this String Theory technique is all about. I have wanted to try this for a while and today seemed like a good time. I did four cards with this technique and was inspired by today's FS, Liz: TLC669 Sympathy & Friendship Strings by LizBeth1976 at Splitcoaststampers
Nice gallery, Liz. I like your variety, makes it very easy to find something to CASE. I tried to make them all different and used many different papers, dies, sentiments, embellishments, themes, inks, ef. I couldn't stop printing these; besides white, I used some kraft type paper, a book page and some dp. Dp probably doesn't work as well because I think the paper is somewhat coated. But it was a blast and I'm going to get more reinkers to use. I also tried a Lindy's spray but that didn't work as well.

Ooh, this is a gorgeous case of Liz's beautiful card! I love the yellow and the form resulting from using the technique. When I first saw it, I thought it looked like a cowboy hat!

This is fabulous! I always like other people's results with this technique but I don't like mine. I really love the sentiment you used and the oval die cut.

Oh, I just love this in yellow! Love the oval die-cut, too! This is such a fun technique--and so addictive! You can't stop with just one image! Thanks for the info on all the different papers & inks you tried with this technique--good to know!
