Congratulations to our newest Featured Stamper, LizBeth1976! Thanks Julie...I've just gotten to 'know' Liz through a walk in her gallery. There are quite a few cards I'd like to case, but when I saw Coppery Leaves n' Thankful Thoughts, the seeds of my favorite time of the year burst into energy!
I kept Liz's leaves and basic layout. I changed to a CAS card and sentiment. My main layer is a mixed media stenciled panel. And of course, mine is slightly askew.
My leaves were stamped on vellum and embossed with various metallic ep's. I fussy cut and let them go ever which way across the page. The stencil is unknown...stained and uber messy from use. I've reached stencil capacity I think...I need to catalog them like my friend Tessaduck...smile! I built up the background with moulding paste and then when dry rubbed over and over it with various Silk hues. Those little pots are magic.
The tiny harlequin Washi tape is from Tim Holtz. It adds the perfect break. And then back to the wonderful quote:
Winter is an etching,
Spring a watercolor,
Summer an oil painting
& Autumn a mosaic of them all.
I hope you have a fun week Liz as our latest Featured Stamper.
Thanks for stopping by today. And always your comments encourage me.

Susan, what a wonderful sentiment to put with this amazing fall masterpiece you have created!! I love the contrast of the thick texture of the copper moulding paste with the opaque look of the vellum leaves. And of course, I love these rich fall colors.

What an amazing card this is with an equally amazing sentiment. I adore this mixed media textured rose piece and how you balanced it with the lightness of the vellum-embossed leaves. Wow! ~Karen.
