Dina's Watercolour Quilt MIXed media challenge today is huge fun. Problem is, in making it mixed media I pretty much covered most of it up.
I think Elmer was at the back of my mind when I started - I took an acrylic pad for extra texture, and drew curved lines as directed. Painted it with watercolours and loved it. I tried various die-cuts on it and nothing looked good, so I stencilled the roses on with black paint. Then I added the polaroid frame, with a scrap of cling-wrap background for the sky. The moon was punched from silver card, but to soften it I smooshed it onto my Versamark pad and dusted it with pearl powder. Drew two black borders and in between them the edge has a little sparkle added with an SN clear glitter pen.

This turned out so great! That black stencil really tied it all together. I AM a cat lover and though I know it's a leaf, I spy a cat eye peeking out from under your kitty quilt on the upper right side. A purrfect placement.

Fantastic mixed media card! I love all the colors, shapes & textures you have going on, and the kitties are adorable!

Love, love, love this stunning card. That background has me sitting here looking at it and taking it all in. Of course you know my weakness - kitties - in all shapes and sizes - and these too are a very cute addition.
