Thanks for the nice compliments. StampinAmyR - I usually just rub the pastels into the tile using my best tool - my fingers. Some tiles seem to take the color better than others. Sometimes, if the tile is a little shiny or smoother than usual, it won't take the color well.

These are some of the prettiest coaster tiles I have seen on here!! Your coloring is beautiful!! Did you use a sealer (using chalks)? I have done this before with chalks (not as much as yours) and did not seal and had no problem. Just wondering. thanks for the beautiful post.

These are just AWESOME...so much so that I totally CASE'd them! ibbie, they are gorgeous!!! I found if I stamp the tile with VersaMark after the Staz-On dried, the chalks adhered great. Then I sprayed with a sealer. I'm not quite as talented as ibbie when it comes to shading, but for my first attempt at stamping tiles, I'm quite pleased with them!

Thanks for all the great comments!
Jackie G- I did seal them with a polyacylic spray after I chalked them. I have found that if I don't spray them, the chalk can wash off.
Jeanred, thanks for the tip on using versamark. I tried it and it works GREAT! I don't have to rub so much into the tile.
