I used my small scribbly birdies (thanks for alerting me their existence, Andrea!), and I spattered the foreground after sponging it. Added SN clear glitter to a lot of the bird, and Stickles to his cap. I found a lovely light blue heart gem but it was much more dimensional and international postage has just gone up AGAIN, so I stuck with this one which picks up the bird colours anyway, and will mail at standard rate.

I think this is wonderful. Yes the leaf is close to the birds head, but that is also the charm of selecting the foreground. My first attempts were not publishable. The purple gem is just lovely with the sentiment.
It is also cool how you grounded the scene.

I really like this.......regardless of your DH.......it fits the challenge beautifully!! I never would have thought to use this ef,, but it sure works! Thanks for a fun challenge, even though it took forever to get a fair print!!!!!!!!!

Wow Sabrina...this just shouts "spring is almost here" with that fabulous glittery bird and the lovely colors you chose. The little heart gem is perfect. What a day brightener this card is.
