I think this qualifies as clean and simple, even though there are a couple of extra layers, since they're just frames. Right? I flooded a piece of watercolor paper with water, and sprinkled it with some ultramarine and gamboge Brusho for the background.I cut the deckled frame and the plain one with the Cricut. The dandelion stamp is one I purchased from **********. This is the first time I've used it, and I was a little concerned, as it was so cheap, but it worked beautifully. It was stamped with Versafine black ink. I think the sentiment is a little crooked. With a long, skinny stamp, it can bend a bit, and I think that's what happened. Good lesson. Next time I'll know to check with a straight edge. I think I would like the deckled frame better if it were cut from a bit thicker cardstock. Other than that, I'm happy with this one.
