Today my card is for the Mixability challenge (MIX316) to use colors that one would find in the sky. Since I woke early, I thought Iâd try my hand at creating a water & sky background with distress oxides which is a first for me. I know... shocker, right? I typically stay in my comfort zone with paper, DSP & dye ink. Thatâs why I love these SCS challenges & why Iâve dedicated myself to a few a week. Anyway, I hope you like it. Have a great Friday!

I love your water and sky and the beautiful masculine look of this card, your DOX worked really well on this pretty textured paper. I'm sure your fish hasn't been caught yet so let's give him a second chance!!

My SIL would definitely appreciate this sunrise fly fishing expedition! I like the perspective of the larger than life fish almost leaping off the card with the fly fisherman in the distance. Beautifully done!

Beautiful sky. I am guessing your fisher is somewhere other than near us today. I think he would be ice fishing if he were doing it on the Mississippi. I love the way you colored the fish. Stay warm and have a blessed day.

You have created a fantastic scene with the fisherman out in the early morning(as they often do up in Little Traverse Bay, MI) to get his big catch. You did a great job creating the sky and water.....plus the coloring of the fish and I like how the fish comes out of the frame.

So fun to see your card using the ne SU Best Catch set. Love the way you have the fish dancing out of the water. I just got this set and am looking forward to using it. Popping your card into my favs for inspiration! TFS
