I had a doctors appt this morning so I had time to attend the teaparty! How fun!
We are to make tea, have teacups, tea bags, china, etc. So why is there a chicken in a pot on my stove instead of a teapot? Not sure where all my teapots, coffee cups, etc. are. The craft room looks like a tornado (or two) hit it. Wish I could blame it on someone else, but it is entirely my fault. So I grabbed the first cooking related things I could find. Isn't chicken soup kind of like tea anyway? It is warm, makes you feel better, and comforting (all except for this poor chicken, of course).
This is going off to Linda for her cards to donate pile. She could use more if you want to play as well.
Many hugz!!!!

What a FANTASTIC tongue-in-cheek card, perfect when someone is feeling under the weather and needs a chuckle and the TLC of receiving a card from a friend. I love it! Your cards always teach me something and I so appreciate that!
What did you use for that background layer--I can't tell if it's a printed DP or an embossed piece of cardstock, thinking printed? Whatever it is, it really adds a great deal of dimension and texture and some vintage chic to your card.

Spectacular in every single way, Nancy! I'm so glad to see you had time for both challenges today! This is a very creative take on the tea party and will surely be appreciated. I love the corrugated and the red ribbon that really pops!

Cute, cute chicken and oh my, I LOVE your stove. And, as always, your use of corrugated card. I made chicken soup last Friday to try to build myself up a bit. I think it's even better than tea!
