For today's Inspiration Challenge Angie asked us to look at the Accessorize Web Site.
I needed to make my grandniece a unicorn birthday card (birthday not till April but I like to get them done early!) - and quite some time ago I purchased the Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel Die and stamps as well as the Neat & Tangled Magical Day stamp and die set for this purpose.
So I searched for unicorns on the site and found many but was inspired by this one for color reference!
I looked at the video on the Lawn Fawn site to see how to put the reveal wheel together - and it's really simple once you watch the video! There are 4 words that spin by as you turn the wheel - Fabulous, Awesome, Amazing and Magical (the sentiment set has lots of other options as well)
I stamped and die cut the unicorn using Hero Hues Black Ink and Strathmore Bristol Smooth Surface paper. I colored it with Tombow Markers - moving the color around each section with a Clear Glitter Wink of Stella so it is really glittery IRL. (Jennifer McQuire has a great YouTube video on this technique
I'm also going to be linking this card to the Wednesday Simon Says Stamp challenge - which is to make an interactive card.
Now that I know how to use these fun reveal wheel dies - I'm going to make more! So glad I was inspired to finally get them out and try them today!

A sweet and interactive birthday card for your grand niece, Julia. She is so going to enjoy spinning the adjective wheel. A very special card for a very special girl from a very special great aunt.

Your grand niece will love this not only for the unicorn but for the personalization and interaction. I'm betting you will get a LOT of use from this stamp & reveal die set.

What a great card for the 5 yr. old. I am sure she will love the reveal wheel and it will give her a smile as she turns it. Super cute card!

Love your interactive card. I noticed many unicorns on that site, and I don't have even one unicorn stamp. Love this in pink.
