I'd replaced a sheet red velvet paper I'd finally finished after using it as sparingly as possible for years. It had been ages since I'd had a full A4 sheet to play with and I decided to use it for a design I'd had in my head for a while - a luxurious pudding bauble.
I embossed the velvet paper, not that you can tell and used an XCut die for the top of the bauble. I had bought velvet ribbon from Flying Tiger and it matched perfectly. The backing paper has glitter on the holly and I've also had it for years. I felt like the card needed something else so added the corner embellishments. Everything is sparkly or shiny or velvet-y and (hopefully) looks luxurious.
