Happy New Year!!! I really wanted to make a New Year's card with this week's colors. I thought this Stamping Bella image would be perfect since the dresses on their stamps are always fun to color! However, after I started coloring I realized that I haven't colored in a while and it was a bit more time consuming than I thought. So, I went to plan B and framed the girls in a Polaroid! The bottom half no longer needed coloring.
For dessert, Barbara picked ribbon and I was having a struggle with that until I found this beautiful black sparkly ribbon in my stash. I'm not much of a bow tie-r (I can do it, but it takes FOREVER) so I asked my daughter for help. She showed me a few tricks to come up with a pretty fancy bow. It's not as good as she could do, but I'm pleased with it and I think it adds to the festiveness of the card. It's cute, but not one for mailing!

Your party girls are absolutely adorable, and they're certainly in the spirit of the evening! I love how you streamlined the time-sink that coloring them would cause! Love the pretty, sparkly bow, too!

What a genius idea to reduce the colouring (super gorgeous colouring). I love the design, your fun bows, sequins, stars....everything! Wonderful creation Jeanne.
