Sabrina I think having bridges was a fantastic idea. At first I thought of the Golden State Bridge, and then it hit me; War Eagle Mill (about 30 minutes from me); it is one of the last if not the last mill that is working in AR. My Great-Grandfather owned one like this when my grandmother was a little girl. You can see the bridge in this picture, it is wooden and steel.

How interesting to see the mill, Jan. Just like your barns, it's so different to any European mill I have seen. Such a peaceful looking scene, too, with the water gently flowing over the weir, and your great bridge. I'm glad you remembered this bridge and some incidental family history to share with us.

What a fabulous card this is to commemorate this wonderful watermill Jan! And this gorgeous bridge too. We have watermills and these types of bridges in Iowa, but they are slowly going away so this is a reminder I should take some pictures of them before they are gone. I love the history you shared on this as well. You framed this image out beautifully Jan! Hugs! ~Karen.

Awesome picture! There were three of the blue bridges in some of our towns. The last one is currently being replaced!
Needed to go, but hated to see part of history gone!
Have a Happy New Year!
