Hi everyone, today I am sharing a Christmas card that I made for my daughter. I have made a few cards that I will share over coming days but couldn't share them before Christmas or it would spoil the surprise. This is also my card for the SCS Free for All Friday Challenge F4A460 of 'Holiday Card Show Off 2018!' Please see this link for the details---> F4A460... I have been a really big fan of Helz Cuppleditch's Christmas images for many years now. Helz really knows how to create such adorable Christmas and non-Christmas scenes and characters and I look forward to her collections every year. I also love to do 3D decoupage (or papertole as some call it in Australia) and find it very relaxing.
The Helz Cuppleditch collection I am using for this card is 'The Night Before Christmas' and is a few years old. The designer paper came free with a UK magazine and the decoupage images, I bought earlier this year even though it technically came out a few years ago. The decoupage images came already diecut so it was easy to just pop out the pieces and put them together using dimensionals.
The snowflake paper is from the matching Trimcraft paper pack and the red layer is by TPC Studio Christmas Cheer Ribbon Candy Stripe. I trimmed the red layer to 1/16" using my Perfect Layers Tools. I layered it onto some buttercream cardstock and trimmed that to 1/8". I had a bunch of snowflakes that I diecut from silver glitter cardstock a while ago ready to use on my Christmas cards (sorry, I don't know which dies I used) and glued them on using Tombow Mono Aqua glue then added Kaisercraft silver rhinestones to the centres.
I added some light blue organza ribbon in two separate elements and the bow itself was made using my Bow Easy. The bow was glued using Helmar 450 Quick Dry adhesive. I couldn't figure out where to add a sentiment so decided to leave it off. Lastly, I glued my card front onto a cream cardstock base using Tombow Mono Multi glue.
The image came already glittered but unfortunately you can't see it in the photo - however, it does look very pretty in real life. Finished card size is 5-1/2" x 5-1/2".

Fantastic! You do such fabulous paper tole, I can imagine all the love and layers that went into this. It's not normally my style but I couldn't resist a padvof Helz Cuppleditch papers when I saw them in a store a couple of weeks back.
