Oops I fibbed! I couldn't resist sharing another card with you for this weeks wonderful Inspiration Challenge IC680 hosted by Stacy. And, when I read that I might be a little enabling regarding Stacy's wish list for another wreath stamp set I thought I'd seal the deal with the accompanying stamp from Spellbinders, Holly & Berries. Here's my inspiration photo for this card: https://www.shutterstock.com/image-p...qVzdBMVew-5-51
This third card in the "marker-to-stamp" technique and layering series really gives the card dimension without a lot of bulk. And oh how I love it when company products play nicely together! The lovely glossy effect on the holly is sealed by embossing with clear watermark ink after it's been colored. I sponged an early evening sky and cut it larger than the MemoryBox Stitched Circle Tree die, then placed it behind the glittered trees. Last, I sponged on a little weathered wood distress ink and stamped the script background. I trimmed around the panel with that glorious gold leaf pen I so love and embossed the small sentiment at an angle.
I hope you've enjoyed the three cards I've entered into this weeks IC Challenge (she smiles). I love it when a plan comes together! Thanks Stacy!
P.s. Go ahead and get that wreath stamp, Stacy! *tehehe*
Happy Holidays!
Sincerely,
Susie ~

I've certainly enjoyed the three cards you created for today's challenge, Susie. They added so much beauty to the gallery.
