Dang, I keep forgetting to upload to the Assembly Line Stamping technique.
My daughter Liz was born December 20, 1981 and we brought her home Christmas Eve. So I know a thing or two about December birthdays: no Christmas images, unless they are Christmas-aholics; not even winter images, unless they like snowflakes or hot chocolate. I think one has to think about a December birthday being just like a birthday any month. My granddaughter was born in March and I wouldn't send her a St. Patrick's Day or Easter birthday card. No Christmas wrapping paper for presents, no presents that count for both. Fortunately Liz loved her birthday. It was part of the whole craziness of the month.
I think this could be an assembly line card, although it was a little time consuming. Just masking and brushing using the life changing brushes, which I love. I didn't really have a plan for colors but if I had, it would go faster (and you could do fewer circles). And you could stamp a sentiment instead of the diecuts. The photograph is my Dad, me with Liz and my Grandma Meyer (my Dad's Mother). Taken on New Year's Eve 1981.

I totally agree about a birthday card being a birthday card no matter what month of the year! (especially pertinent since both my mother and a dear friend have Dec. 23 birthdays and another is Jan.1!) This is so cool with the layered die cut sentiment but could easily be mass produced with a stamp.
