The colors in this bedroom ensemble inspired my card today. I created the background by brushing distress inks on white bristol card stock, then stamping a couple of Penny Black background stamps lightly.
The poinsettia is an oldie but goodie Penny Black stamp, which I stamped in my Misti with distress ink cubes. The verse is another great blas from the past PB stamp.
Full details of my card, including stamps used, and techniques are on my blog Paper Arts Cafe.

This is lovely. I like the combination of backgrounds behind that pretty poinsettia, and the sentiment. I have a few PB sentiment stamps in that style and they remain favorites.

That is such a pretty poinsettia and the background stamp looks wonderful. Good job creating from your inspiration.
