Our newest Featured Stamper is The Cow Whisperer, Michele Wright. Thank you Kitty for introducing us to Michele. I chose Time for Tea Panel Card.
Michele has a video on the exact construction of this fun fold.
I kept the fold Michele chose. It was one I had never seen before and I thought it looked like a fun way to use patterned paper. I changed my theme from Tea to Coffee. Used different papers and color way.
Living in the PNW with lots of rain and grey, we LOVE our fancy coffees, kaffes, espressos, breve, and pour overs. I needed to make a card to go along with a gift card to a friend's favorite coffee shop. It was fun using 4 of Basic Grey's 'Barista' papers.
I stamped the coffee cup/sentiment (Stampendous) and embossed with Sea Foam White. My one construction issue is I used PaperTrey card stock which is stout. It holds nice folds, but I needed to build in a close. Once the envelope is opened, that card is going to burst forth. The coffee beans and that heart shaped coffee ring and drips is from the Altenew Coffee set. For the beans, I used generation stamping.
On the back is a small glassine envelope holding the gift card and a note to my friend.
Thanks for stopping by. Please have a look at the card unfolded. And it you know if a better way to secure the fold, I'd love to hear. Happy Sunday, All.

Love seeing this unfolded and your extra stamping that you did. What a great gift this will be for your friend. Don't know of a way to make it not spring forth, other than really taking a bone folder to all the folds.

Spectacular card for sending a coffee gift card. I love the papers and images using perfect colors for this theme. The embossed coffee cup is particularly nice. I have no suggestions for keeping the card closed; the PTI paper IS heavy!

Coffee was born in the PNW. Well not really, but our obsession with it was. I'm drinking coffee right now, are you? Then we're sharing a coffee. I just did a card like this with this fold, it was from an SU Technique Club. It is a really cool fold, lots of scope for fun papers and stamps. Your friend will be THRILLED!
