I could see this card in my mind's eye and it came together wonderfully! The moon stamp is from Bee Crafty and I used a stamp press so I could repeat stamp until I got it just right. I used two blue and one Black Soot Distress Inks on the stamped panel. I'm happy with the results, a pleasant change!
I can't remember who made the die but I do know who gave it to me (thank you Sabrina!).
I don't have any Glossy Accents, they always dry out before I get through them but I did notice as I was gluing the die cut pieces together (I've used three to give it more stability) that the glue I was using gave a slight sheen where it leaked out so I squidged it all over the front of the top die cut, curved it slightly and left it to dry. It felt very slightly tacky when dry so I went over it with an anti-static bag and it was fine. It dulled the sheen a little but I didn't mind.
I then stuck Santa to a strip of acetate that I bent round the front of the stamped panel, stuck it to the card and it was done!

The moon and halo round it are fabulous. Impression Obsession for the die I think, as that's what I got myself ;-). The gloss looks great...and the dimension.
If you've got wide clear packing tape, sticking that to your card before die-cutting is an easy way of adding gloss!
