Another card for Send a Smile 4 Kids. I've really been on a roll with making cards with stickers recently. I had bought 3 sets of holiday/winter stickers from Hobby Lobby, and was determined to use them all on cards. Thankfully, I met my goal!
I die cut the oval from pale glue cardstock, and adhered my snowman & snowflake stickers. I used liquid glue for them, partly to make sure they don't come off, and also to give me a little play time to get them positioned correctly. I also die cut a circle from green plaid paper, snowflake from silver shimmer cardstock, and the background panel with the scalloped rectangle from "Femme Frames."
I cut a small rectangle from white cardstock for my greeting. I used the oval die cut to determine where to stamp my greeting, from "Color Layering Wreath." I stamped it in Rose Gold ink using my MISTI to help me get it placed AND keep it straight. I felt this greeting was perfect for this particular design, since the left side kind of followed the curve of my oval!
I adhered my background panel to a white card base, leaving a 1/8" border on all sides. I adhered my circle next. I had to fuss with the placement of the oval on top of the greeting panel, but finally got it spaced right. I adhered the bottom of the oval to the greeting strip, and then adhered both to my card. I glued down my die cut snowflake and added a few Nuvo Crystal drops for good measure. This card design was a bit finicky, just because of the narrow oval for the focal image. But I am glad I had a sticker image that fit, & I finally got to use the sketch!
